Oregon Coast Cruise
Urban legend states that there is buried treasure at smugglers cove, the world may never know.
The true treasure is in the scenery. From Astoria to Brookings all vistas facing west and public access there of, are a legacy worth far more than jewels or gold doubloons.
Smugglers cove is found at Oswald West State Park. This unique park carries the name sake of Oregon's 14th Governor, a gentleman with enough for-site to protect our natural resource. In 1967 Tom McCall formally legislated (HB1601) the entire coast from the high water line to the public road way to us, we the people. Enjoy your treasure.
